About the school

Nyansakia Primary School is a public school for girls and boys with over 700 learners, located in Kisii County, Kenya. Its mission is to produce all round citizens that will be ready to develop their community; and this is reflected in the school motto — “Hard work pays”.

Why the project in needed

The children at the school lack access to clean water, adequate sanitation, and playground facilities.

How African Development Choices is involved

African Development Choices has partnered with the school’s Board of Management to build a water borehole, new toilets, and playground within school grounds.

The school has allocated land for the project and African Development Choices is funding the construction and maintenance of facilities through fundraising.
